Duramax in an old 6x6 in Germany

The Duramax vans did not get the Allison like the pickups did.

High EGTs w/ KB Diesel 64mm

^ Agreed. Based on his post of it being a 64mm, it would benefit from a tune but doesn't "need" it to run reasonably well. I think there are other issues at play.

    Fuel tank balance

Bingo, it won't keep them at the same level. It only pulls from the rear tank when below it's threshold and stops below 100% full as well.

High EGTs w/ KB Diesel 64mm

Step 1 would be checking for boost/drive leaks. Feed 40-50psi of air into the front of the turbocharger and spray all charge air piping connections and the intercooler with soapy water. Inspect all exhaust connections (head > manifold, manifold > up-pipe, up-pipe > turbo) for any signs of a leak...

    Help!! ECM Problems

I can get you a stock file. I do not have one for your OS but can acquire one. That service is $100 as I have to purchase that file or you can send me the ECM and I can bench flash it with GM's SPS2 software then provide a readout for $125. The choice is yours, the extra $25 if I bench flash it...

    LBZ Non-vgt turbo

It keeps coming back to “what you want to do”. A Garrett style turbo will be more responsive than any Borg, it’s just nature of the beast. I’ve used a few 6275G units from Pulsar on trucks like yours and been happy. They again aren’t as responsive as a VGT but aren’t as lazy as say a smaller...

24 L5P deleted now lighting issues

At this time the modules (ECM/TCM) must be removed from the truck and sent to HPTuners for 24+ Duramax. I'm with you, I'm guessing they bent a pin or something in their file is pissing the truck off overall. I've seen some files from lower-quality sources do dumb stuff (never this issue).

    Speedometer Reading Issue

I would check resistance/integrity of the wires from the sensor all the way to the TCM. Make sure nothing changes when you wiggle the harness around, if it does you likely have a chaffed wire somewhere.

Hit him up directly or we are a dealer for his products as well. You won't be disappointed that's for sure.

    LBZ Non-vgt turbo

Then an aftermarket VGT (JZ Mfg/Fleece/Duramax Tuner), 363/68/0.91, or 364.5/68/0.91 would be a great fit.

He sure is still making blankets. His are the only brand I run/sell at my shop.

    LBZ Non-vgt turbo

Welcome to the forum! To install an S300 style turbo you really have 2 main paths: 1) Bolt in turbo style produced by Smeding Diesel 2) S300 swap kit The Smeding route is cheaper/faster and honestly their turbos have been relatively decent. They won't win any performance awards but they seem...

lbz to a lly engine swap -- no start condition

Did you use your LBZ CP3 pump? What reading are you getting for rail pressure while cranking? Do you have any high pressure leaks? Any suction side leaks or collapsing lines?

    Fuel rail sides

I would suggest you take a log of the truck. It's possible your tune may need adjustment, or if it's a "no tune" kit it may need a tune to correct it.
