    Alot of lower mileage 40K- 60K trucks popping up in the 45k range. Yet they just sit there... no one dropping the coin like they did previously... Best he can hope for is Bring A Trailer might have some one willing to pay it... other wise, even at the big fancy car auctions I dont see it...

    That really is a shame. The Dorman parts are so bad I have often wondered how they make any money. The only thing I can think is that they are buying it so low and selling it so high that its still profitable.

    The Auto Cal device will be locked to whom ever sold it to you. Only they will be able to supply you with a stock tune that you can flash. If they are out of business you can Pay EFI live and they will unlock it for you. However you will need to find a new supplier that can send you a base file...

    You will get the same response if you purchase from Rock Auto too. You have to go through Rock Auto so they can go back through there supplier to get things warrantied.

    Tom, I believe they have a reduced height. I have only done the one motor and they were .020 over sized. I also had my block decked to make sure it was flat and get a better surface finish. My block was already past the service limit at standard. Here is the label from my set for my LBZ

    Maybe the guys that deal with them more can chime in. I have a feeling it could be a piston to wall clearance issue. Do you know what they set the Piston to wall clearance at? DId they use a Torque Plate when they honed the block?
