    Thanks. It has been a fun project. Plan on calling raylar tomorrow and seeing there stats on shortys vs long tube. Also ordering the 203 cam swap on stock motor. We'll see. It's been shity weather for dallas.

    I'll add to this. JB weld for me. Lasted 3 years until the pump started rubbing another hole in a different spot. Then I had it fixed with a newer half.

    Can't hurt to replace internal could it?? I did mine. I agree on the dex3 but not for the transfer case if its push button. Shift on the floor yes dex3 but push button needs delco trac or water ever they sell at the dealer.

    If your getting a filter at Walmart don't. Wix oil or delco. Probably already stated red Allison only for trans. Delco or racor or Baldwin for fuel. Google is your best friend. Or use search function. These things have been covered many many times on here

    Gauges vary. At east there even. Read article I'm attaching. Yamaha had issues from 2000-04. Some claim 05s also. That one may be fine but I would check date on motor. http://www.boatus.com/magazine/2012/october/Yamaha-F225-Corrosion-Complaints.asp But that being said can't beat them...

    I put plugs and fuel filter in. Also cleaned up kn air filter. It had ngk plugs in it. Those 3 things definitely helped out some. I still have a feeling I'm dealing with a plugged up cat. Next chance I'm going to have a look at them. Or the o2 sensor is getting slow on bank 2.

    Must be special ones lol. Some people think they have the allisons but they didn't come with them. 4l85s I believe. Wasn't enough tunnel room for the allisons. Thanks

    Still trying to learn here myself. But wasn't there a post recently that his fass pump failed and it still ran great. No issues. Only way he new it was from fuel pressure gauge reading zero or changing filters I believe. Or does the second filter cause that more strain on the suction?

    Yep fixing to change it. Forgot to mention it needs plugs bad also. After sitting for 8 months it ran like shit for 20 minutes. Cylinder 7 had 1800 misfires. And others had many also. But it's clearing up. I'll change the fuel filter and plugs Friday.
