    It is doable with either a small PLC (Stamp for instance) or a feedback analog circuit. Making it "smart" would require a lot of work, but a simple boost control is rather easy. These are non-ECM stand alone solutions.

    Piston protrusion How to figure out what HG thickness to run?

    I place a vice parallel or other flat piece across the bore and set my dial indicator to zero on top of the piece. Run the piston up and it will push the piece up and indicate on the dial. I also rock the piston and take the highest value for my protrusion.

    Statistically, .75% and 1.6% are not that different. On the other hand, 0.02% and even 0.75% is. Point is, it IS more deadly. But we shouldn't be shutting down the country for Pete's sake. Everyone is going to get it eventually. No immunity till you pass through.

    Allison 5sp: LML piston difference

    Arrow points to the front of the engine. Since the oil holes and squirter reliefs are ambidextrous, the offset will be in the correct direction in either bank so long as the arrow points forward.
