    LB7: mpg

    I average around 15 in the city, have seen just over 20 on the highway. Hand calculated, speedo is dead on, DIC use to tell me 2-3 more, now it reads lower than actual :confused: with new tunes. edit: oops, just saw you were asking about 4WDs. Oh well, something for comparison I guess.

    Sweet, didn't know that was there. Did find the minimum pressure (14psi), PSI @ 1800rpm (42psi) and the pressure relief valve opens at 64psi. So I guess too much pressure should never be an issue, unless you use peanut butter for lube. Thanks for the link :thumb:

    Just a quick question, what are the upper and lower limits for oil pressure on LLY, LBZ, etc? I read the GM spec of 42psi @1800rpm (by Hondarider), assuming that is at operating temp, but is that LB7 specific?

    Thanks. Hehe, I just had the tires and rims mounted, did a little trimming now need to do some torsion bar adjustment, should be fine then. I'll post up pics when I get her all done.

    Trying to decide on what to wrap a 20x9 +20mm offset wheel in. Will a 305/55 fit with a little torsion adjustment? Any better recommendations? Thanks for any help :thumb:

    So would upgrading nozzles on an LLY be beneficial to injector life if you are doing some heavy tuning? From what I understand it will help the motor (less timing, etc.) but what about the strain on the injector itself? Seems it would be better in the long run since less pulse width required...

    Interesting vid. What is the proper name for the ladder with elbow pad you used to lean over the motor? Also, what was the purpose of removing the cab?

    Your wheel offset/backspacing will also play a role in determining what you can clear as far as tire size. Something that most people overlook.
