    he said it is leaking out of a loose bold on the back side of the pump. You have to tear it down a bit to get to it, but you think it may just be that bolt backed out and started leaking after maybe it was replaced before? Truck has about 180K on it i think

    Thats what i figured. Do they loose prime and leak out the bottom when they go out?

    He lost prime on it and pulled over and could pump it up and get it to run about 20' again. I could hear fuel pressurizing out of the bottom of the CP3 and he said if he had the right amount of angle with mirrors he could see fuel leak out of small bolts tword the bottom of it.     No cruise control

    may be way off here but with my "mileage tune" i am only allowed to set my cruise at 55 MAX, it is only in that tune. Other tunes = any number so it could be in your current tune? I am prob 100% wrong on this, so if so, i apologize and dont listen to my ramble :(:(
