    The way the bumper bolts to frame is different between the two. That said you could weld the classic style brackets to the NBS frame no problem. What josh said will be the nest problem.

    Yes it tows a lot of the time. Cattle trailer mostly. I drive It very little so will need to ask my brother on the exact temps it runs. He just got back from a 2k mile run with a fairly heavy flatbed trailer. All I know is he commented on the lower EGTs after the turbo was put on.

    Yes it will fit perfectly fine. Pattern on upholstery will be a bit different tho.

    All you need is some spot on tuning. We put a Danville 64mm turbo on dads LBZ and it lowered exhaust temps spools real close to stock. Everything else is stock as far as cooling and piping. Is ATP no longer in business or why can’t you get original tune redone? I wonder why Danville sent you on?

    It looks like the vgt wire to me so if your running a fixed geometry turbo i think you have it figured out.

    lbz van thermostat conversion

    Yes that is a LML housing or maybe a LGH van housing now that i think about it. I have the 4094 with the van thermostat housing and eliminated the turbo thermostat by putting plug in that i drilled and threaded for a hose barb.

    This thread I’d getting interesting but should maybe have its own thread as its kinda off of the broken crank subject. One thing i have wondered and haven’t researched is the firing order of the L5P. Is it still the same as previous?

    Your idea sounds interesting. What I’m wondering tho is will the LBZ heads fit on the L5P block? They changed them quit a bit for L5P.

    Yes i think your barking up the wrong tree. Like said above first start disabling injectors one by one and see if any make the tick go away. Balance rates can be an indicator but not solid evidence. You could also have a valve train noise.

    The pass side battery tray likes to rattle sometimes. Easily heard in the cab.
