I'd bet the lift pump had more to do with it then you think. With a 150hp tune and no lift pump, that's how they act on the verge of shifting.- N2BRK

Copper clad aluminum scares me a little... aren't they dissimilar metals? Galvanic Rust, no? When I had an aluminum boat and the EPA outlawed TBT bottom paint, we had to be super careful with copper based paints. IIRC we were able to buy the tin paint in small quantities for the lower units...- N2BRK

Raising LMM compression
So you're saying - build a truck to handle higher stress at lower RPM vs stock and then limit it to 6-650hp so that it's super responsive with more CR and less boost. Hmm. Sounds like a hell of a balancing act, but it makes sense that if it's DD reliable, perhaps an explosively responsive...- N2BRK

Ok, so that map is not the lb7 it's the LML. I did more digging and found from where that guy mistakenly took that map and it's an LML. I did find another map though that seems correct - max flow looks to be about 55'ish lbs/min which seems about as I'd expect.- N2BRK

I bought my KTM 450exc from a guy that was prepping it for Baja 1000 before he was relocated to Delaware. At one point after watching *Cycles South, I had a strong pull to head west and south... but especially on a bike, it seems like a romantic idea that would suck in reality, hahaha. Gas...- N2BRK

I'm glad to hear that! It was a little bit of a PITA to get the info needed to do this properly. I think that a lot of guys that install these compound kits must not mess with them much. The difference between when I started to now is night and day. The tune has cleaned up a ton too...- N2BRK

I decided to do this in 2 steps. First step was tonight. I plugged the pressure port on the IHI to WG and ran the WG to the S475 crossover pipe. No regulator in between, and no adjustment of the WG rod. I wanted to just see the effect prior to install of a regulator. The low and midrange...- N2BRK
