Another PSC install along with 2011 hydroboost and all new PS lines.

Nice job! That is the cleanest 05 from the little view of the truck I can see I have ever seen, hell the paint under the hood is still white!

Low oil pressure on new build using LML/L5P oiling parts

For the people that had trouble with the sandwich adapter are you using the mocal adapter with at least -12 lines? This one on page 5 on the link below SP2TC Billet Thermostatic Sandwich Plate https://irp-cdn.multiscreensite.com/e112be6e/files/uploaded/sp1t.pdf This is what I used and have no...

Low oil pressure on new build using LML/L5P oiling parts

How did you measure the bearing clearance, are you checking it with something else besides the dash?

Low oil pressure on new build using LML/L5P oiling parts

I would say it's your LML piston nozzles they just flow a lot more then the old ones and the old style pump just doesn't have the volume for them. Your sandwich adapter can't leak oil back to the pan and the bypasses in the cooler/filter head assembly only bypass either the cooler or the filter...

    The new Limo

Dangit on the TSB's guess I better leave this one alone until the warranty is up. The recall mine had was just a reflash for the DEF also. I got a P2002 DPF effiency code and the exhaust tip was turning black but no limp. Took it in and all they did was the def recall and didn't even order a DPF...

    The new Limo

I got a 20 2500 work truck and it cracked the DPF at 5800 miles, had a recall for the def, and got a new steering box already to.

    Towing Compounds

I figured a gated housing would be better since once the drive pressure comes up you could just adjust the gate for it. The fixed housing you pretty much stuck or going to a larger A/R but it's still going to choke but possibly a couple hundred rpm higher? I wonder if a guy ran as spring on the...

Considering switching from .91 hoising to 1.0?

I'll reply in your towing twins thread so I don't mess this one up to bad.

Considering switching from .91 hoising to 1.0?

Bumping this up since the turbo's for sale now, just curious did you figure out if you thought it was the turbine side holding you back or the compressor side? How much driveabilty did you loose with the 1.0 housing, also what are you going to try next? I'm considering a 64.5 but with the...

    LML oil pump conversion info....

Also had to cut up the windage tray for the new pickup tube, it needed a lot of carving.

    LML oil pump conversion info....

I pressed the shaft in the pump gear to get the correct offset for the drive gear, cut the aluminum housing for clearance behind the drive gear. Machined the back of the shaft since it will now poke out the back of the pump after pressing it for proper depth. I had to also clearance the pump on...

    Full Flashing A40 TCM

There was a deal with the a40, I don't remember the exact details it's been a long ordeal with them. Supposedly it was a time issue getting a full read with them and it wasn't supported for a long time. Then there was a file you could download to try and get a read, no one else had any luck or...

    L5P Drop In Turbos

HP tuners is cheaper for the unlock service anyways the only question is could a different tuning platform be used afterwards?

    L5P Drop In Turbos

This little note from the CDS guys is kindof joke, I think I would pay the HP guys to unlock the ecm instead. In an effort to push the market toward developing CAA compliant products and tuning, CDS has implemented the following strategy: This ECM modification service will not allow modified...

    Shocks

I say pass on the 5100's every truck I've been in with them rode like ass, if you must have bilstein's get the yellow ones. I've tried 2 sets of 5100's on my own trucks thinking I just got a junk set but nope they still rode like ass. I would buy generic auto part store ones before the 5100's...

LBZ cracked piston - What long block to with ?

What color is the polyphen coating? Im not sure what i got, industrial coated the pistons so who knows. Im betting its not on there anymore and probably didn't do the cylinders or ringseal any favors.

LBZ cracked piston - What long block to with ?

Well I didn't have any troubles ruining stock LB7 pistons under 70k with a max effort stock turbo/fuel truck= 500ish hp and it didn't get beat on to hard I towed with about 375-400ish hp. So if those Mahle stock replacements are worse I would be nervous.
