Not sure how much it has to do with it but none of the piston squirters were centered in the piston holes, a few were what id call only getting half the spray into the hole at BDC.
no no worries about noise here. 342 would be ok too, then would only need to make rears set! let me know if its available and how much, id look into it for sure. biggest problem with the 342 is when the pinion dose break it breaks at the splines and puts the pinion gear threw the case...
THe only thing inside that case that broke was the gear that drives the front shaft, which casued the chain to trash the case! Of course the rear pinion broke first, shocking the tcase. The crash happens here at 5:06.

Our tracks with fpp are like 50/50 good/shit tracks. we seem to hurt something about 50% of the time this year. but we pulled on a few other good tracks with other orgs this year. this was the last tcase, prob had 10 hooks on it.
I guess we could cut the class back to 2007 levels of 600hp...
AAM 3.42 gear set! Tha fast ratio has been some of our drive line issues, but in 3 years have never broke a tooth on the R.P. gonna have to drop ratios, transfercases are getting expensive!!
we are only 1550 in the rear, i dont beleive there are any 1550 slip yolks for the rear of the t case at least that i could find. its held up now though, the pinion broke flush with the back of the yolk now!!
Just call mark @ Greensburg driveline and get one made with 1480s minimum so you can grow into them and not have to buy a new shaft evey time you up your power level, at competive 2.6 power level id recommend 1550s, we wernt getting many pulls outta 80s. who ever in your area that was makin...
Both of ours,1 SRW and 1 DRW housings bent forwards and up, THe drw wasn't as bad as the SRW was but the DRW was only in th truck prob 8-10 hooks, the DRW housing now has a pinion shaped window in the side of it! this pic is of the srw housing.
