    I just took them out of the truck, since its easy enough to do, wiped them down with simple green. Then took some Mag polish and polished them up, I know im weird. But I cant resist polishing something that can be polished.

    The intakes are all pretty standard. Its nice to buy the "kit", because you get matching powdercoat color, an intake that you know will fit, and a nice filter set up.

    Do balance rates change with valve adjustment? when I built my motor I was new to adjusting valves so I did a loose .012. And now my injectors are a little off. When I do pushrods im going to go to a slightly tight .011

    It started just fine, idled fine (but knocked) it wasn't bad at first but then I drove it again and went up a hill, put load on the motor, and boom started knocking super loud. I found out it was broke by tearing the motor down.

    Some companies don't understand the importance of satisfying a dispute openly in a forum. Say for an example I was looking for a pump and was debating between fass or fuelab. I type in fuelab pump and this pops up. Well boom. There's my decision. Over something that cost less then a dollar.
