    Efi live tuning problems

Post the tune maybe someone will help, but don't they test for HC's, CO's, ect? So if it does pass the visual if they check the exhaust gasses it will fail.

    Reusable bolts?

Head, mains, flywheel, converter, cam, crank ect. You can probably be fine with the damper and cam bolts if they are keyed. I would even to do injector hold down and rocker shafts just to save some possible headaches.

Going to get burned for this

When the converter locks you loose line pressure, get yourself a hydraulic schematic if you want to learn what’s going on and where it happens. Or you can search here for the quick n dirty but monkey see monkey do doesn’t teach you much.

Going to get burned for this

Did you eliminate the knock down, would help even more if you did. Surface area and pressure is the most important, you gained no surface area just a little pressure.

    LB7 upgrade turbo's

I have drove a LB7 truck with a Fleece 63 cheetah drop in and even it was no where near as responsive at this elevation as the stock turbo. The top end was ok but driveability was lacking, could have just been his setup/tuning/hard parts ect it had around 50-60% injectors on a stock Cp3 and...

    LB7 upgrade turbo's

At your elevation and stock fuel truck i'm betting you would be happier with a little smaller turbo if this is a daily driver. The one I have is nice but I don't have enough drive time on it to really give a good review plus my setup is nowhere near what a stock truck is so my review will likely...

    LB7 upgrade turbo's

Did you not read the thread? :D It's a DTS 67.7, It has a 68mm inducer and is very likely the exact same turbo your looking at elsewhere.

Allison 5sp: Nightmare in Idaho, Built 5spd killing Transfer Cases

wow :eek:, all these big chain trans shops sure keep a lot f the small guys in business. I would ask to get a shop tour and report back what you see I’m betting there’s floor dry being kicked all over, dirty as shit, and a few illegals doing the repairs :D If they can’t show you their...

    LB7: Blew turbo

I'm at 6k ft with a 475 over it and 100 overs so the lag will not be comparable to a single setup. It doesn't spool quite as fast as stock but the 475 is likely holing it back hurting the spool a little.

    LB7: Blew turbo

LDS's 68 is identical to the one I have just with someone else's name on it.

    LB7: Blew turbo

The LDS one, also the duramax tuner ones use a stock compressor cover, the LDS one has a bigger higher flowing cover to keep the correct map groove in the housing. Lots of others modify the stock cover with a insert, weld, ect and the map groove is not as good.

    LB7: Blew turbo

It is a water cooled center section and not a borg s300 center section, it’s a nice turbo.
  16. rcr1978

    LB7: Blew turbo

It has a aftermarket compressor cover to handle the bigger wheel and if that 68 is made by who I think it is the turbine is bigger to like a 68/76. Compressor is 67.7/100. I have one and it's a nice turbo just did not get it from them.

Attempting to program TCM with Tech2. Calibrations out of date

I tried to flash a new T14A today with a Tech2 using SPS pass through, it said it was 30+ min flash well it made it 15min into it and failed now have another doorstop. Might have to get a MDI to try maybe it’s faster this shit is rediculous

Attempting to program TCM with Tech2. Calibrations out of date

Yup I've had my go with the T14A's :D I've been trying to flash a new T14A with SPS using pass through on a Tech2 but AcDelco's server has been a real joke lately it has some issues.

Attempting to program TCM with Tech2. Calibrations out of date

I'm pretty sure any newer A46, T14A TCM has to be done with TIS pass through on the Tech2 since all the old cals are for the A40 witch will leave you with a dead TCM.
