Tuned lly duramax no added power between tunes

Exactly. The simplest way to check if it is serial is to plug in your Efilive hardware, and under the tune menu select "switch tunes". If you can successfully select a tune level, then it's a serial switching tune.

Tuned lly duramax no added power between tunes

Is the tune set up for serial switching by any chance?

    Allison 1000 5 speed rebuild

I recommend watching this video. I watched it step by step while rebuilding my transmission, and it was extremely helpful.

Ok, I would have to research what's involved. Might be beyond my skill level.

What kind of .bin work do you need exactly? I might be able to help.

    Stealth 64 Rebuild?

Update on this... Finally had time this weekend to pull the turbo and rebuild it. Luckily, the compressor is still in relatively good shape. There were no signs of contact with the housing. Nothing jumped out at me as being badly worn, but the turbo is WAY more responsive now. I'm really happy...

    New Exhaust Manifold?

Actually, it's the up pipe you want. The passenger's side is the one with the riser. And you don't need to stick to GM for up pipes. There are better aftermarket options. But if you decide to leave the driver's side up pipe as is, it will bolt up to an LML manifold.

    .cax files not working

That was the case for a while, but there is a later update for V7.5 that allows you to open the V8 files again. Efilive is the best.(y) The competition would have just left us out to dry.

    LB7 LML Allison 1000 conversion & swap

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I did basically the same thing to my 01 LB7. In my case I used a LBZ valve body. I already had a 6 speed calibration from my LLY, so that was simple. I'll try to make a list below of changes the need to be done for this to work. 1. Custom TCM tune to...

    New Exhaust Manifold?

At a minimum I would suggest a GM LML driver side manifold. The 01-10 trucks have a dent in them that's unnecessary.

    .cax files not working

Not sure if this is helpful or not, but when I last updated my V7.5, I somehow managed to install the program files inside the existing 7.5 folder. So now my program path looks like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EFILive\V7.5\V7.5\Calibrations". Whereas before, it was like this: "C:\Program Files...

LB7 DSP5 with SAC45s, LBZ reg, Built Trans

Hey guys, thought I'd share my DSP tune with everyone. I appreciate the forum and the help I've gotten the short while I've been here, and I want to give something back. This tune is based somewhat loosely on a few files I've downloaded from here, especially Dave's tune he posted in a recent...

    sac45 idle

This tune helped me with my truck. I never really had problems with idle haze. More so at mid 30-40% throttle before it got up to temp. It seems much better with some of this tunes' tables copied in. I'm going to post the DSP5 tune that's in my truck in a separate thread.

That's good info, man. Thanks. The kit from KC arrived today. Now I need to find time to actually do it...

    Stealth 64 Rebuild?

I decided to go with this kit: https://kcturbos.com/products/360-extreme-rebuild-kit?variant=8188725067864 This company seems to be really good with the Garrett's in 6.0 Powerstrokes, which are very similar turbos. And the kit looks more complete than KB's. I'm hoping to have time to get this...

    Stealth 64 Rebuild?

Thanks for confirming that I don't need a rebalance. That's what I was thinking as well. I may try to contact Duramaxtuner, but my previous experience with their customer support hasn't been the best.

    Stealth 64 Rebuild?

I looked my exhaust over with an inspection mirror today. I don't see soot anywhere. Is there a better way to check for leaks?

    Stealth 64 Rebuild?

I'll make sure I check that. The up pipes are the same age as the turbo, but I guess that doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't leak.

    Stealth 64 Rebuild?

Hi guys, I need expert advice. I've had a DuramaxTuner Stealth 64 in my LLY for about 3 years now. Overall, it's done ok. I've been reading on here about guys who didn't fair so well. Lately though, it's getting slower on spool-up, EGTs go higher than I'd like, and it makes a...
