The machinist who narrowed the rods and did final balance to half gram, cleaned up this 3rd set of heads for me. They were freshly cut when I dropped em off, but needed a valve job to be 100%. He didn't like the finish, so got these pics a few minutes ago.. Anyone care to wager or this RA...- kidturbo

100% I'm torn. A good lift pump, straight-lined into the CP3 would remove all possibilities besides the tank, and last 3 foot. Or do we pop the bed off real quick, dust the top off, and yank the guts out of it... Someone spent a bunch more time than I searching, so would like to solve it old... -

Okay it's been 60 days, since rebuilding the filter head and changing some hoses and clamps on the engine. Truck still running, won't hold 10k psi, but has been reliably running around town locally. Never had time to do the bottle test, but yesterday I did take it 100 mile drive to use my GM... -
Cracked PPE up pipes common?
Cracks are unavoidable in rigid turbo piping. Never lasts very long, like weeks. So the bellows designed to solve that problem, made of any quality, and welded correctly, should outlast the pipes. I got nothing for those flanges... :unsure:- kidturbo

Sounds like a test vehicle to me. Back in the early 90s, prior to carfax, I played with a couple cars originally titled to "GM Proving Grounds". January 2025 in Southeasten Ohio is officially Jeep Rated.. After watching the neighbor kids try and beat a hole through the ice on the pond, figured time to see if it would hold the old Jeep. Far as I know there remains only 2 major salvage auctions where most mangled things land. IAA or Copart. Both have full inventory online 24x7. Many moons ago, I was buying cars out of IAA in Newark NJ, and then driving them back to Ohio the following weekend. All the cars people in NYC donated...- kidturbo
