    has anyone on here put the true trac in the gm 9.25 ifs. I called just differentials they said that its only listed for the dodge 9.25. called another place that explained the true trac doesn't work in the ifs due to the fact there is no cut out for the retaining clip on the ifs shafts

    just going to throw this out there. I have used both cp3s and injectors that have sat for over 2 years with no issue. more than 1 time too. idk

    I would use a test light. easiest way clamp the light on the battery ground check the 2 b+ turn key to run test ignition+. then clamp on battery + and test 2 grounds

    if the tcm shorted internally it could drag down the communication line. but the only way to be sure is to check powers, grounds, igntion voltage at tcm. if all there then leave it unplugged and try to use a scan tool to talk to ecm. if you can talk to ecm with tcm unplugged the tcm died

    that didn't show up the way I copied it but will work. pin 9 and 69 ground. pin 10 and 70 battery +. pin 63 ignition voltage.

    you need to check communication with a scam tool with the tcm unplugged. truck will not start with tcm unplugged. I cant say that grounding the tcm case will not hurt it but I have don't it a dozen plus time with no issue. again not saying it cant happen

    next thing to do is check the powers and grounds at the tcm and ecm connectors so you can figure out if you have a power problem or communication problem. also try disconnecting the tcm and see if communication come back with ecm

    I'm sure you did but ill ask. did you look at the harness from the gpcm back? its one thing ive seen pinched while doing top engine work

    check the wiring at the glow plug control module. the ecm, tcm and gpcm are all on the high speed bus. if wires got shorted at the gpcm it would not communicate

    my shackles now are 3'' longer between bolt holes compared to factory. I believe that's 1.5 lowing in the rear. I plan on moving the hanger up 3'' and using the factory shackle. that should give me the same -1.5 in the rear if I'm not mistaken?

    yes, but the same as lowing shackles. when I installed my lowing shackles I had a driveline vibration and had to and shims to the transmission mount and degreed shims between the leaf springs and rear. I'm told must don't do any shimming and have no vibrations idk. I'm sure my traction bars made...
