    I would not think it's as much hardware as firmware. Unless the bus cannot support the speeds, making the older hardware talk encrypted is a firmware thing I would think. Now if they could program the older hardware with the upgraded firmware, it might be more possible.

    According to what I find, the charging parameters should be the same as to when it kicks in charge mode, startup mode, headlight mode, etc. Mine never enters Startup mode for starters, and charge mode is hit or miss.

    IIRC stabilitrack is tied to the ABS module as it uses individual brake pulses to the wheels for corrections in stability. My guess is you need to re program / re sync all of the modules to each other.

    I think the stabilitrack message may be keeping the cruise from working. On all 3 of my trucks with traction control and stabilitrack, turning off either the traction control or stabilitrack will kill the cruise.

    Is the plastic intake deformed and restricting airflow as well? I mean I may or may not have done some junky stuff when I was 12 or so, but that looks like the entire 7th grade class got involved to come up with some of that.
