Who machines C3 apply plates these days?

So order some parts from Evan at Inglewood. You won't be disappointed, and you'll learn a lot faster than if you try and piece stuff together on the forum.

Good Shop in Oakland California area?

300 psi is low in my book, I'll put $100 on that being the issue. I have a lmm here that has been through hell. Owner was told by another tech that he needed injectors. He bought 8 garbage remans. Hacked them in. Still ran like crap, knocking, intermittent misfires. Brought it to me. Told me to...

The lines are slightly different from classic body to newer body styles. But yeah, fitment notes are usually pretty botched on these types of suppliers

Update: new Delco modules have started to be delivered as of yesterday. Thank goodness!

    Transmission control module issue

Another option is to convert to a different tcm. ATS offers that option. CA conversions might be as well now, haven't talked to them in a while

    Transmission control module issue

Xemodex.com is repairing them for $1200. There have been a few positive feedback testimonials given by people. I have 7 cores I'm going to send to them and have done, and I know some other shops have a lot more cores than me they will be sending.

    Def pump replaced same issue

A proper diagnosis would have saved some hassle here. Im guessing you didn't check the integrity of the rest of the circuit while you had it apart?

COOLANT IN AIRBOX WHILE TOWING 5TH WHEEL : TRK TOOK A SH!$

They are cooled by coolant, however, it is a closed loop in the center section. My bet is that the coolant in the airbox is from the degas bottle overflow. The cause of the pressure in the system is what he'll have to diagnose, or pay someone to diagnose. MBS Diesel Performance is down that way...

TrakMotive XTENDED Travel CV Axles GM-8026XTT 2500HD

I've used them, nothing bad to say about them yet. Biggest issue I've had with the aftermarket CVs of multiple brands is the cheap boots don't last Long in the salt up here or at higher joint angles.

    LML Transmission lines leaking

I've had a few kids locally try buying the Amazon version of the Fleece kit and it isn't even a close comparison on material quality. Be super careful with Amazon deals.

    LML Transmission lines leaking

I've installed countless sets of the Fleece line kit and haven't had any issues since they started using the current hose and fittings. (Since 2018 IIRC) I've also used Parker steel compression fittings and pusklok hose in some situations without any issues either. The Parker fittings are very...

Looking for a picture and the difference of the LB7 and the later style pistons.

I question the efficacy of delipping these pistons, personally, when the correct injector and timing is being used. I'd much rather have more complete combustion with the eddy created by the lip utilizing the correct flow and spray angle of the injector, than building the engine knowing I'm...

    Dimpled Pistons

I think Tony Burkhard tried this idea, but I haven't seen any data posted about it.

    LLY FICM

I've never seen one leak internally from high pressure, but those cheap banjo sealing washers leak all the time at much past 20psi. I think back in the day not many people took the time to fully investigate their observations, myself included. Also, there wasn't much reason to go over 15psi at...

    Question

Gm's way of cheaping out. Becoming all too common. As much as I love the l5p/6sp drivetrain, the rest of the truck can and will rot in hell.

    Question

The fuel pump control module is a somewhat common problem point, as is the harness and connector to the module, particularly in dirty and wet environments.
