Check out the supporting vendors on the site here. Several of them offer custom tuning to delete the emissions stuff, none will steer you wrong. I am going with Tony at RidgeRunner on mine, but there are others too.
Orange power wire is now soldered to the white wire in position A3 on the light blue BCM connector.
Green ground wire is now soldered to the black/white wire in position B6 on the brown BCM connector.
Still doing the same thing.
When the truck is running, the brake pedal does not disengage...
Just ordered the Kennedy twin kit with mega filter, the BT Line Pressure box, and the S&B dry filter intake as well. This is getting expensive damn it! Now just need to decide on power level for tuning.
Better to ask for forgiveness than permission right?? :roflmao:
So...parts list now is...
Yes. I have his twin pump setup with the mega filter (big Baldwin filter) plumbed after the stock filter on my LLY. Probably do the same thing on the LML.
Ahhh more parts to order. Wife is going to kill me, lol. That thread looked like they were running the oiled S&B filter, but I didn't see whether or not the dry filter gave the same gains. Any ideas? I'd rather run the dry filter if it's all the same.
This is on a 2005 BCM, yes.
On my trip in to work this morning the auto mode was not shutting off with the brake pedal. It did shut off though when the TCM commanded lockup.
I'll move the power wire to the white wire tonight and solder both power and ground and report back.
I have a downpipe, egr delete, and exhaust on the way. I think I'm going to go ahead and do lift pumps and the BT line pressure box too. Sticking with the stock intake, I don't see any reason to upgrade right now.
No prob, figured you were out for the weekend :)
Orange power is hooked up to the pink wire in the light blue BCM connector as recommended in the instructions. Green ground is hooked into the black/white BCM wire in the brown BCM connector, both using t taps. I checked both power and ground...
Ordered delete parts for my LML. Going to order tuning from Ridge Runner, can't decide which power level to go with. Truck has stock trans that I would like to keep stock for a long time. Looking for recommendations for power levels for two scenarios: 1 - no lift pump, no line pressure...
I can't find a contrast option in the CTS. It's probably just the crappy camera I have that's causing the problems. I think I'll try a better one and see what happens. Thanks Roger.
I just ordered parts to do a full delete on my LML. Trans is stock, and I'd like to keep it that way. Going to have the tuning done by ridgerunner. Looking at the BT line pressure controller. How much does this help? Does it allow higher power levels through the stock trans?
Everything works correctly with the engine off. In auto mode, light goes from blue to green at WOT, then when I let off it goes back to blue. Any mode, auto, lock, or unlock turns off when I hit the brakes. The only thing I'm questioning is auto mode - when I hit the brake, it turns off, but...
Your connector is different than mine. Assuming the power and ground inputs are in the same position though, then I have mine hooked up right. I think I'm going to have to wait for input from Ben.
I have not seen a video. Basically though, you have full manual control of the converter like...
I also do not have the dim green LED with the ignition on, but since the instructions don't seem to be up to date (they still reference the sticker with the software version on it, when this post says that there haven't been stickers for over a year) I wasn't sure if something had changed or...
