    LB7 Trans issue

That's why you can plug n play an 01/02 TCM OS in newer trucks that have the G-Sol without issues. I'm 99% sure yes for all 5 speed Allison TCM calibrations that have the solenoid. Not sure if it was added in 03 or 04.

    LB7 LML Allison 1000 conversion & swap

I can tell you a 06/07 VB being run as a 5-speed does some funky things, most noticably on coming to a stop. As the trim solenoids are the only ones that are different, pretty sure that's why.

    LB7 Trans issue

The G-Sol isn't needed.... It's an emissions thing that reduces line pressure and increases mileage by 0.000000002 mpg. Don't bother running a wire for it and just disable it in the tune.

Truck wont rev much past 2k rpm no codes

I get that... And as the site owner, you could add the efi log extension as an allowed extension... While I'm not trying to suggest that this is the case here, some users aren't that savvy, and it doesn't help that windows, by default, hides recognized extensions... Simply adding the efilive log...

    3.0 Duramax

Mine too lol. Had to do her front brakes last weekend... Inner pad backing plate exited the caliper bracket (relocated itself to between the rotor and the dust shield and fell out when I removed the rotor) and the piston was way over extended, and the inner half of the rotor was about half the...

Truck wont rev much past 2k rpm no codes

@Chevy1925 - James, why are efi log files not an allowed extension? I can't think of a valid reason to not allow them and require users to jump through hoops to work around that rule... [emoji848]

I'll consider my hand slapped lol.

    DEF Fluid in fuel tank

Well, I DO agree with the 'if you can't tell the difference' bit, but without SOLID, REAL PROOF to the contrary, I FIRMLY believe that the net benefit of DEF (and likely DPF as well) is negative when you consider EVERYTHING. Yeah, the effect is 'lower emissions' out of the exhaust of the trucks...

    2027 more emissions....

Yup. Been saying that for some time. If tomorrow, everyone in the country traded their ICE vehicles in for EVs then went home and plugged them in, the grid would implode.

    2027 more emissions....

Maybe change the thread title to reflect the blend... Because there is the very real possibility that the overlords are pushing this emissions agenda to push EVs, rather than to let things happen organically... Make ICE vehicles so demonic and PITA to own that the weak throw in the towel.... I...

    2027 more emissions....

The way around the engine driving a generator being 'less efficient ' is make it a Plug in Hybrid. ~200 miles of battery range, can be plugged in and charged, but can also run forever if there's fuel in the tank. Something like that, with my wife's commute, would basically never burn fuel. But...

    2027 more emissions....

I did a brief search and it appears that their approach is to have a small gas or diesel engine driving a generator, which generates the electricity to charge the batteries and run the electric motor(s) that actually drive the vehicle. If I'm correct and that's what they're doing, YES, that's...

    2027 more emissions....

That's my thought on EVs. Sure, there are some use cases where they're great. For my wife's daily commute, an EV would be great. But if you take long road trips, that's where things change, no matter what the diehard EV fans say. I've made two trips from MO to SC in my 3.0TT CT6, stopping once...

    2027 more emissions....

I feel exactly the opposite.. old non emissions (or deleted) diesels smell like perfume compared to EGR/doc/dpf/scr treated diesels... Just EGR and doc make my eyes and nose burn, add in dpf and it's worse...

    2027 more emissions....

How about get rid of the dpf and EGR, tune for optimal burn, rather than feeding the engine it's exhaust purposely creating an incomplete burn and more soot, and if you MUST 'treat something ' [emoji849], have a big scr setup for the nox and feed it horse piss measured in gallons per mile....

Engine swap holy moly , 06 LBZ into 05 LLY, no start

If this is what was done (06 drivetrain into an 05), and the ECM and TCM were swapped as well as required harnesses, it'll 'work' without the 06 cluster and shifter, and it would 'probably' start with the 05 pedal (I know with a similar gasser pedal that had the wrong voltages for the LBZ, it...

    Stock T43 Tune

Thanks - I'll have to see if that'll work. The odd thing is the transmission segment - in this tune, the part number is 24251209, but in every VIN I ran, both AWD and rear wheel drive, there was 24251208, which was superseded by 24252099. The only place I found p/n 24251209 was using the VIN of...
