    i had the same cam with a yank tt3000 converter and loved it. longtube headers for sure. leave the heads alone, yours flow pretty good stock, no reason to pull them. any big brand dual valve springs and hardened pushrods will work.

    I'd get a quality kit. I suggest Morimoto or Spencer's. I"ve had the same Morimoto kit for 3 years on 3 different trucks with no relays. Never once had a problem.

    I don't have a spare under the truck. I think they look stupid, especially with larger tires. If I ever travel far I toss a spare in the bed.
