fuel limp
Alright guys,need some help with an issue with the new built motor.Its running and idleing fine but when it hits 1500 rpm it smokes and poppes real bad.In park it will only hit 5x mpa but i can command 160 and get it.no codes that would cause a consurn.glow plug,marker light and such.All mods... -

The truck seemed to fire super easy for never being run and idled smooth.first thing i thought was i fkd up timing or repinning for the af cam but i did triple check before closing it up.I swaped fuel temp sensors and checked voltage at the the fuel temp plug and both sides are dead.no blown...- dirtydmax

Sounds good at idle but when the rpm is brought up a bit its pretty rough.Its still stock tuned so i hope it smoothes out and i didnt f*ck somthin up.have some codes but half the stuff is still unhooked.Il post a vid in the morning so those smarter than i can have a listen.- dirtydmax

What should be my first mod?
A built trans was my first mod and while i dont regret it the the power bug is addicting and damn near impossible to shake.Stick with a cp3,trans,tunes and your truck will remain fun to drive.Well said RPM! -

The motor is bolted in with no trans and it wont budge at all.I ended up with strobelights pulling mounts with no bushing and custom insert.Its TIGHT!- dirtydmax
