    What is a good tip for the UPS dude? I had the same guy for 20yrs and now it seems to be a rotation of drivers. My friend does a route near the city and he can pull in 30k in tips in a good year. I'm pretty sure most shops are teamsters as well.

    I do the same but I spray WD40 underneath periodically. I'm not a fan of FF, it was pushed so hard on plowsite and i wasnt impressed.

    What is your fuel efficient DD?

    14 toyota corolla. 36mpg in alot of traffic, 128mi round trip. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 5'11, the seat doesnt go back far enough. 41,000 on NYC streets and it still feels tight all around. I really like the CVT for some reason

    "OFFICIAL" What did you do to your D-Max today?

    I installed fleece transmission lines and a leaking PS line pm my :BZ. Pretty straightforward, remove fan shrouds, grille and IC boot. Only odd thing was the truck was in limp mode when i started it, topped off fluid and disconnected battery. It seems the TCM is acting up lately.:mad:

    Lbz trans help

    that harness is a PITA to replace but i'd give it a try. You would be getting about 10 codes from the control valve(valve body) if the harness was bad though. I think you can get the harness for 130.00 online, just make sure you push it all the way in to the connector. It's a pita connection...

    I was finally able to dig back into this, the pin for the IMS came out pretty easily but I have two parts that came out when i was dropping the valve body and I'm not sure where they came from. I think the slave valce goes behind one of the solenoids, not sure which one. The A solenoid has one...

    I've dropped the valve body and removed the hex bolt from the old switch. I can't figure out how to remove the old switch from the shaft. This was supposed to be a quick change but what a pain in the balls.
