I just tossed my MBRP for flo pro. The MBRP clamps are cheap mild steel and their tubing is actually decent steel. The cheap clamps rotted the pipe at each connection. The flo pro took maybe 20min to install.
Whatever you do put in a transfer switch, you're gonna kill a lineman backfeeding. Northern tool has some nice setups. Do not get a gas unit with a steel tank, the gas will destroy it.
I took off the rotten MBRP 5" and installed a flo pro 4", what a difference in fit and installation. I actually bought another MBRP downpipe that will be up for sale. I hate wasting my time making a product fit that has never evolved over the last 10 yrs. Flo pro has made many improvements...
I worked for a mobile company during college. We mainly did PM work but also light repairs. I took a DMV inspector class so i could adjust slack adjusters. There was ALWAYS work. This was a lumber yard and even during the economy tanking, we stayed busy.
did your downpipe crack after the V band? Mine cracked there and rusted out at all the crappy clamps. I will never put those crap steel clamps on a aluminum exhaust ever again.
