Where does the 03 - 07 trucks get the ground for the steering wheel? In order for the horn to work on an 06 I have in, I have to ground the steering wheel(the actual cast structure of the steering wheel), and then the contacts work fine and horn functions.

It actually seems like it would take more time, effort, even materials to do it the wrong or half arse way, than do it right. [emoji848]

The differential doesn't need removed completely. It can just be lowered. But you are correct about everything else.

It was the tuning. The exhaust was pretty old, based on the rust. So it's pretty crazy to wonder how long the previous owner might have driven this way. If you had tow anything, it wouldn't have been able to get out of its own way.

With the reports I've seen of the cracked oil pickup tubes, I'd be doing the whole 9 on yours. New pump, seals, and pickup tube.

I'm going to see if the dealership can get ahold of the previous owner. I cannot see anything that would limit rail.
Question, does the sotf switch make fuel temp stay constant? I'm assuming so. Like tune 1 is -40*, then tune 2 is 32*, and so on?

It's a trade in at the dealership I do work for, so I'm not sure at this point. In fact, sluggish/low power wasn't even on their list of things to look at.

Maf flow looks correct, 32ish g/s at idle and goes up to 418 ish wot.
Map is same as baro at idle, then up to 82 in at wot.
Boost is always correct during the run, mirroring map minus baro.
Desired Boost is 14.4 at idle and up to 94.9 psi at wot.
I don't have access to lml tables to see what...
Have a 15 LML in here. Tuned, SOTF switch, non compliant. It runs super lazy and sluggish, checked all the normal stuff. I noticed it maxes out at a desired FRP of 72xx psi. Ive tried all positions of the SOTF switch, cleaned MAF, checked air filter, etc. What would limit the desired rail...
I could get injectors 1, 3 & 8 to shut down and trip their respective P12xx code by wiggling the injector control wires at the back of the ecm connector. So I replaced those 3 female pins as well as cyl 2, since it had that code set when the truck was hauled in. Problem solved.

It's those stupid round pins in the ecm connector. I've had trouble with those on 4l60 tcm connectors in the past. I should have some saved here somewhere

I only pulled 3 glow plugs, cyl 8 was the one with thw injector hosing fuel. Cyl 2 had the code set upon arrival. Get it running with new injectors, cyl 1 sets the code now.....

Those p1223, etc codes were for the circuit between ficm and ecm based on the diagnostic instructions. But I am going to have to check everything before sending the ficm out.
I just wonder why it switched cylinders after the injector change.

LLY was towed in here for a no start. Had codes P1226, P0302, and a 1094. Wont build rail while cranking but would fuel smoke some out the tailpipe. Pulled a couple glow plugs to find an injector hung open. Customer agreed to start with a set of injectors. Got them in today, fires right up...
