    That's the worst

This is by far the worst bad head gasket symptoms I've seen. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/67cb4b61c8955/20250307_143603.mp4 Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk

    Oil prime

It does look like that but that could be from the friction while running it. He actually drove like this for a while, towing snowmobiles. An employee did this job from start to finish in Aug, he's quit Dec 31. But even if he took a torch to the flywheel bolt heads I don't think it gets spots...

    Oil prime

Check this out. This is from the oil prime issue truck we fixed. 3000 miles later he calls and says that converter bolts must be loose because they could rotate the converter back & forth thru inspection hole. Says he never heard a thing until now. So I pay to tow it here. Obviously we had the...

    Data logging

Thanks. Friends of mine are building a pretty serious drag & drive truck and are wanting decent data log capabilities. Still using an Allison. I'm assuming any sled puller I ask will be using an aftermarket Ecm and it's data log setup. No real connections in the racing world. Sent from my...

What are the options for data logging the stock ecm besides EFI? Has anyone used anything and liked it? Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk

    Horn ground

Theres only 1 pin on the multi function switch. It contacts the backside of the cancel cam. The horn contacts plunger contacts the cam on the front side. Everything functions as it should, except the steering shaft and wheel are not grounded enough to apply ground to the horn relay control...

    Horn ground

Ok, if I heave hard in any direction on the steering wheel, it makes ground and horn functions correctly. Meter shows continuity from shaft to ground when I heave on wheel but none when I let go. Does the shaft get grounded thru mounts to body and steering box/chassis or does the clockspring...

    Horn ground

Grounding the intermediate shaft makes no difference. I literally have to apply my own ground to the steering wheel structure or right to the shaft (at the steering wheel nut) for horn contacts to function normal Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk

    Horn ground

I'll dig in a little further tomorrow. It's a pretty rusty PA truck. Will be interested to see what this could be. Thanks Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk

    Horn ground

With airbag installed, I literally have to smash it, in an upward motion to get horn to work. But if I ground the steering wheel structure, the contacts work as they should, with hardly any pressure applied. Kinda throwing me for a loop Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk
