FrAme mounted fuel filter and pump?

I might do it your way Trent/Reno. Pumps seperate from filter. I can get the filter cheap that way. Thanks forthe advice guys. I'll see how much the fass 200gph unit is. If it's over 600 I'll do it the other way.

FrAme mounted fuel filter and pump?

I just went on the airdog site. What about the airdog II model df200. Will this do what I need it to. Any experience? Can I use a standard filter on it or does it need a specific airdog filter?

FrAme mounted fuel filter and pump?

I am looking to install a frame mounted filter and lift pump and get rid of the underhood filter. What's a good setup to use? My tts pumps just aren't cutting it and my underhood filter housing is buggered up and it's a pain to change now that my cac pipe is in the way. I need...

Another toy to blow my money on

Haha, I guess someone had to like it for them to build it. I'm headed to Revy next friday. Hopefully it is prime conditions for my whole ten day trip.

Another toy to blow my money on

I think the yellow looks terrible on those things. A set of aluminum wheels goes a long way to making them look cool too. I'm thinking about getting a set for mine just for the bling factor. First on the list is fixing the damage from the tree I smoked in Valemount the other week.

    Key In Ignition code help

Hmm... thanks for the reply. Makes sense I guess. it hasn't been a big problem besides my command start acting funky or various occasions. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Its surprising how big of a deal is created when an area that is not prepared is hit with some bad weather. For most northerners snow and rain doesn't cause too many issues. I rarely use my 4x4 on the highway and I've never used chains. The only reason I use 4x4 around town is to accelerate...

Are things ever going to get better?

I'm down with LBZ on this one. Bullfrog - after a few weeks of -50 temps you'll wonder how you ever went without it. Not to mention that -10 will feel like t-shirt and shorts weather!

Another toy to blow my money on

Possibly later on in february and then again through March. If I have my way I'd like to hit Revy for 3 days and Valemount for 3 days in March sometime. 7000 to turbo my XP... I guess Ill just learn to like not getting too far in the deep powder. On a positive note my side hilling skills are...

    Key In Ignition code help

I've been occasionally getting a "key in ignition circuit fault" code come up. The only symptoms I have noticed are that my tow/haul button isn't working and that my command start has been acting a bit wierd. The tow haul thing Im quite certain is the wiring issue - When I hold the column...

Another toy to blow my money on

I was in Revy around Dec 10 and they had excellent snow. Conditions were Ok, a bit tracked out. I was in Valemount this past weekend and it was incredible. I've ridden in great powder before but this was the best I've ever been in. Had over 1 meter fresh on the ground friday morning at Clemina...

    Should I pull the motor???????

I've done them in the truck. If I was doing it again i would pull the motor out. Not a doubt in my mind that it would be worth it to pull the motor to do the head gaskets. I would go with the GM gaskets as well. I think the general consensus is that they are the best quality ones. Once you get...

    Cooooooooooolllllllllllllllddddddddddddddddd

I would be willing to trade you guys weather?? I think I could handle no snow and mild temps all winter. Perfect working weather. Although I don't think I could handle the heat in the summer. And then all the money I've got "invested" in snowmobiling, snowboarding, ice fishing etc. would all be...

    Block Heater Plug

I keep mine lying along the inside of the passenger fender just below where the hood closes. Basically same level as the top of the coolant tank and AFE filter housing. When I plug my truck in I keep the plugs under the hood and fully close it so just the cord hangs out right between the...

ECM Tuning and Shift Point Relationship

In the ECM tune you can disable some rev limiter stuff. I did it once and my shifts were about 200 RPM higher than they usually were, close to 3400. Doesn't make much sense seeing that the TCM should still shift under the same parameters but it definitely did make a difference. I never looked...

LB7: Lower compression on 2 cylinders only when cold!!!!!!!

Wouldn't bad rings cause pressure in the crankCase? You could idle it withthe oil dipstick out to check that I think. If you get air blowing or or oil from there or the breathers then it could be a possibility.

    Cold weather smoke

Did LB7's have intake heaters. My truck is a franken truck composed of many different parts from all models of duramax and even some other random Chevy parts. So maybe when I put some LB7 intake parts on I noticed the coil that hung down... there was a single wire going to the terminal on it I...

    Cold weather smoke

I've got the same problem... Did the intake heaters on the LLY's even do anything? I never clued in but I had cut mine out. It also got worse when I switched to the HTT turbo. I was certain it was my injectors although I haven't got around to any real testing yet. Mine smokes like a savage...
