personal best deadlift today. feeling pretty good about myself. Felt like another 10lbs could have happened.
pulled 368lbs @ 168lb bw.
odd number I know, gym on the ship has everything in kg. 167kg.

Are those wet sump sixes? getting rid of those will give a nice bump in net power.
I've seen other Bajas with sixes, but they may not have been factory.

oil Temps will be easy to control, unlimited access to cold water helps.
egts will be the biggest hurdle to overcome.

George is a pain in the ass to get a hold of. Personally I just love waiting 3 to 6 weeks to get a text back.
Evan is a great choice.
a forum member just opened up a shop very near George but isn't a forum vendor so I won't post his shop name. Good to have local competition for dipper.

It can be raised, but over 180mpa the ecm can no longer control the pressure because the rail pressure sensor can't read over 180mpa.

That is 0.2% difference. Quite negligible.
That is only 123 miles over 50,000. Your tires are going to see much larger travel distance difference from just turning.

High crankcase pressure is caused primarily by combustion pressure leaking past the rings. Rings are never going to seal up the cylinder 100% but should not blow that much. You should do a leakdown test. Compression test won't tell you the whole story.
I doubt oil is your problem.

Interesting. Mine never had any problems locking over that rpm. Have you tried running the rpm up without being wot and seeing if it will lock?

Oil probably pushes less after a few passes because the pistons are warming up and growing.
You should not be blowing that much oil though.

You will make more selling the built motor separately than selling it complete. Built motor trucks don't really sell fast or for as much as they cost to build.

just noticed you still want me too get it weighed. unfortunately that isn't going to happen, the truck is parted out. would be comparable to other extended cabs with two batteries and triples I imagine.

Shut it off, pull the glow plugs out and look for fuel spraying when cranking it.
Really checking balance rates would be your first step.
That thing is really smoking bad.
