    LBZ fuel knock, multiple misfires?

No, I don't think they have bench equipment. I could be wrong, as I have never asked the question.

    LBZ fuel knock, multiple misfires?

Yes. Take it to a dealer, and get the official diagnosis. The ECM is not that expensive, unless you have the dealer do it. If you were in Phoenix, it would cost nothing to try. I made that statement, because it looks familiar, I had another E35 that did something similar.

    LBZ fuel knock, multiple misfires?

Just stumbled upon this thread looking for something else. Based on your DTC's, I would replace the ECM before proceeding.

Water Injection: before or after turbo???

This is a completely debatable subject, and one that has no definitive answer. The benefits of pre-CAC misting depend so much on CAC heatsoak condition. If the CAC has lost it's benefit (extended hi boost towing, for example), the pre-CAC misting is probably essential.

    LB7: lopey idle

Been fighting this for years. There is an idle pulse table or 2 we don't have access to. Note how pulse swings wider than fuel mm3 suggests.

    LB7: lopey idle

this statement suggests you will find the fix by adjusting your pulse table. Note how much your pulse is swinging around on your logs, when rpm is unstable.

    Help: air intake heater

I am interested in determining if there is a program charging delay under some circumstances. If that voltage stays depressed with higher idle speed, I believe that may be causing your observation.

    B0744 and D5196 relationship..

D5196 can be changed, but it won't have the anticipated results for upshifting. Do all your LLY defuel refinements in the ECM torque and fuel tables.

    EFI and more boost

I would suggest avoiding the paradigm, that a "percentage" of pulse needs to go this way or that side of TDC. This will kill a motor as quickly as anything. Scant spreadsheets, supposed "tutorials" etc, that help calculate and timing number around CADeg, should be avoided if using them...

    EFI and more boost

fuel is safer than timing. More timing can be added, if you increase the dynamic provisions for retard with increased cylinder heat.

    LBZ: shift defuel

unlike the LLY, your shift defuel is at the mercy of the TCM. However, the way you set up the ECM tune, this can be a good or bad thing. Shift RPM is in the TCM

Water Injection: before or after turbo???

If you locate a mist in a 100 mph, 400F heated air stream, there is a less than 0% chance of puddling anywhere. However, when you use a large capacity, coarse misting nozzle that is pointed toward a wall only 3" away, you can count on some recombining to occur, even in those conditions...

tuning? good input wanted no bashing!!

Treading dangerously. 29 can be safe, or tragic. There are so many other combined parameters that complete this sentence, but heat is the main one. On a relatively cool motor, it might be fine. On a heat soaked motor that just pulled hard, then the "negative" torque will destroy quickly...

tuning? good input wanted no bashing!!

"hang" As long as he is not code limping (2000 rpm defueling), this is great advice. I have seen a "smokeless" tune, go to elevation and suddenly lose its spoolup ability. This is why. B0751 and B0752. IMO they should have been put in the dsp tables.

Water Injection: before or after turbo???

I could be compelled to donate an I-FOG to help dispel or confirm old myths/new fears. For controlled testing, documented and displayed here in the open. What I always find odd, is the opinion that you might erode the compressor blade, while the adjacent thread is head-scratching over holes...

The throttle stomp, count to three then go thread.

Josh, I know you helped to get B0795 brought forward. Did you find that it was helpful for the fuel hickup shown in this thread?

help bring up duramax Imperial pids

File-open..."open pid selection", should be a fair number of options to pick from. Also, you can change them and save your own custom pid selections for later recall. yada yada.

You can clean the EGR yourself, assuming it is sticking, which is usually what is happening. edit:removed text

spraying the outside of the intercooler

I agree it is effective. Just not with the op's suggested setup, and towing goals. He is going to have 5 times the ambient airflow through the fins at 60 mph, as someone who is pulling. Because of that alone, it is difficult to get what he needs. Towing can require "minutes" of high volume...
