    Sand in bed

I have had it aligned 3 times already, twice at GM and once at a local shop and it still does it when the tires get worn. Its not drastic by any means, just enough I can feel and see it on my steering wheel.

    Sand in bed

Yes Denali HD Duramax/allison. And no real problems to speak of (since I deleted it.) What I meant in comparison to my 05, Is I just feel like my 05 was built better. I beat the shit out of my 05, drag racing, truck pulls, off roading etc etc. But I always maintained it and when I broke...

    Help: broken glow plug

Harbor freight sells a cheap right angle drill that may come in handy.. In N.Y. a glow plug or check engine light will not fail a inspection on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, Is maine different?

    Sand in bed

Thanks  I wish I still had it :( That was the first Duramax I ever owned and by far the best one. 7 years, multiple motors, transmission rebuilds and misalanious parts later that truck still drove strait and was pretty much rattle free. That is more then I can say for the Denali that...

LB7: LB7 Advise before I burn this thing!

Yup ^ I'm being optimistic at this point, lots of should of could of would of's but at the end of the day whats done is done ;) The funny thing is I have been giving away LB7 parts to anyone I know that needed them for the last couple years thinking I would never need them and they were just...

    Help: broken glow plug

The above list is the drill bits and taps you would need to drill them out. It's a PITA FYI but saves pulling the heads and works well if you are careful. The small bit you will use to drill into the body of the glow plug, Then you will use the 1/4" tap. Next use the 11/32 (Large bit) to drill...

Tell me the truth about your tuner...

150 tune, Averages about 15.5 city/highway mix, Highway if I keep it under 75mph it will average just over 18mpg. I am lifted (4") and am running a 35" tire though so stock height and tires should be good for another 1-2mpg I would think.

    fuel sump/pickup questions

Never used a sump, But I have had good luck using the Draw straw style pick-ups in the past. I cut the straw down so its 1/4-1/2" from the bottom of the tank (When near Empty) then make a few notches in the bottom of the straw pickup in the unlikely case it bottomed out, it would still draw fuel...

    Lmm feels weak....

Trans go Jr, lift pump, built transmission tuning and start saving money for the inevitable full build  Trying to cram 5 tunes in Trans safe tuning (100 -125hp or less) doesn't leave a lot of room to feel the change seat of the pants IMO That said you should feel a decent bump in power...

LML Head gaskets on LB7 ??

As the title says, I am putting ARP head studs in a LB7 and was under the impression the LML Gaskets are universal? Trying to save down time if I can just pick up C Grade LML gaskets from the local dealer VS ordering a set. Thanks in advance :beer

    Lift kits opinions

Cognito makes a great lift no doubt about it, It has some nice options that come with it that the tuff country and Zone lifts do not. For instance the sway bar end link design is a joke with the T.C. lift if you actually use the truck, I broke end links 3 times before ordering the cognito H.D...

Tell me the truth about your tuner...

There are step by step instructions on Kory's site that will walk you through the process, its a little more involved then the previous generations. You can load the tunes to your V2 and then just load them directly without a laptop or they can still be loaded with your lap top and V2 in...
