    lift pump filters

That's great! :thumb: I use to always get mine off E-Bay and it took 4-6 days to get them, hence why I looked into local alternatives. I'm surprised to read all the negative about air dog pumps lately, I had great luck with my two that I bought in 08 and to my knowledge are still going. Makes...

LB7: Regular cab vs Extended cab???

We bounce back and forth a bit from residential to Commercial, we have made a good name locally in the residential sector and that keeps us busy year round with just word of mouth. Commercial work is were the money is though, but its so cut throat and political here in N.Y. I have really been...

LB7: Regular cab vs Extended cab???

X2 ^^ I have 2 reg cab superdutys I use for plowing and love the extra cab room in comparison. The OBS GM's were designed for people under 6' it seems, that said my Reg cab GMC is just my toy / race truck, I DD a CC LML. The above said, If I didn't have kids I would be content driving a regular...

Have a link ^ ? I would like to see this control arm / cross member. On topic, I intend on buying a flush mount cross member for my race truck at some point in the near future being it is so low to the ground now. I doubt it will ever hit anything except possibly bottoming out coming on and...

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

What needs to be changed and/or machined to accommodate a LML crank in a early model block? (If anything).. I'm Sure it has been discussed somewhere at some time on here but I can't recall.

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

Add me to 3 more lol... One well documented LLY crank failure (mine) posted on here awhile back and we just finished putting back together my (second) buddies LB7 motor after crank failure. My two friends that don't post on the forums were stock motors, max effort tuning, built transmissions...

Need help for choice of lift kit

Yes I did. If you crank the bars you could probably get away without trimming with 35's on a 4" lift but that's counter productive IMO since it will ride like sh!t. If you really don't want to do any trimming do what was suggested earlier and run the 6" Decranked with 35's, should sit around 4...

    Question: 5500 question

As they say "It's only worth what someone is willing to pay" ;) Without seeing it, it's really hard to say but I personally haven't seen any 4X4 Kodiaks selling locally for under 20k (05 & up) If you can pick it up cheap enough it sounds like a safe bet you could make some money on it.

    Question: 5500 question

No not at all, I bought mine at auction for what I felt was a good price and have 15k + in it and it's a 2WD LB7.. Most 05-07 4X4's I see selling around here are mid 20's to low 30's.

Need help for choice of lift kit

X2 ^^ My last 2 (lifted) trucks I've installed 4" lifts, bars maybe 1/3rd cranked and 35's.. They ride better then stock set up like this and it fills the wheel wells nicely. The downside to running 35's on a 4" lift (not cranked) is you will have to do some trimming to run the 4.5 B/S wheels...
