    This is exactly what we found with a friends Kodiak, he had 6th come on way to soon, before we did a road trip with my trailer it just didn't work well until 72ish. He was able to flip the trans lockout button quickly and lock it in 5th for some hills and that really helped. How did you do yours?

    Yeah I think thats the simple solution. But I have to take everything apart doing HG's I figured i would just go the full route. My current engine has this too, and the up pipe welded. We dont want to change over any parts so im trying to just go fresh.

    I think this kit would get me reasonably close. Since the heads and everything will be off for the HG and studs this would be the time for the full Y bridge upgrade.

    Does anyone make a 3" intake EGR delete pipe for the Kodiak? Looks like our setup is a little different in the outlet location. Just wondering also what kit i should start with if we end up having to make our own. Attached is the picture of the inlet.

    Does anyone know if the cooler lines on the Kodiak version of the Allison are the same thread pitch as the regular trucks? Replacing my lines when I add a new cooler, and want to convert them to AN.

    I just ordered the adapter last week, and my 12x12x2 cores from vibrant just came in. Now im waiting on the billet end tanks to show up. Hopefully the combo of new coolers will help keep things in check.

    So looking at building a twin turbo kit for the Kodiak and replicating what few pictures I have found on the web. It looks like they are using the upper oil fill tube as the return from the turbo. Could this pose any type of issue doing it this way?

    If you get a trans out of a 2006/2007 Kodiak they have 6th gear but its been locked out by the TCU so its never been used. FYI
