Proper Location for Oil Temp & Pressure Sending units?

So you are saying put the temp on the top and pickup a M14x5 to 1/8 npt to go in the block? Looks like the port right in front of the factory pressure sensor is a good location on the Kodiak. The cooled /filtered oil from the sandwich adapter comes back into what port? It would be nice to...

Proper Location for Oil Temp & Pressure Sending units?

So I found lots of threads about this but lots of pictures that don't show up. F U Photobucket. I wanted to get a consensus that these are the right ports if you want to monitor oil pressure and temp at the filter housing. In my case I have a sandwich adapter that has a single port on it...

LBZ: Help! No one can figure out the issue.

That is a good point, ill have to see what this turns into on the tune, having the ability to make fine adjustments would be nice on this truck. Now my other question is how do others deal with larger than stock injectors and whats the protocol. Do you put stock info in the ECU and then the...

Id turn it down by cutting the spring it sounds like. I do remember hearing the commanded vs desired was 500psi difference.

Also how much fuel pressure should the FASS be pushing? Mine is around 11/12 and down to 9/10 under load. The shop feels like that is a little high.

LBZ: Help! No one can figure out the issue.

The shop called today and said the issue was resolved about 95% by reprogramming the injector codes. They took one code stored in the ecu and used that for all 8 injectors. Im waiting on a call back from LDS on if they can go back and provide me with the flow numbers for the 30% overs. I...

LBZ: Help! No one can figure out the issue.

We moved 3 and 8 in the very beginning so I find it hard to believe its an injector issue again. Maybe move ones in front of 8 to see if that changes anything, the one thing they have found is noise or voltage spikes on 8, i wonder if there is something else in the harness thats causing noise...

LBZ: Help! No one can figure out the issue.

Latest email from the shop: Hi Kendrick, I have attached an estimate to this email for what we have done, plus checking valve lash, compression testing and sublet injector testing. I like your way of thinking in regards to the injectors in the firing order, but I’m not sure I can get on-board...

LBZ: Help! No one can figure out the issue.

My tune is locked from Kory, and not sure if they are willing to unlock it or offer any help. Based off my first emails and phone calls it was pretty limited. I thought about ordering a tune from Rob and seeing if it was any different.

LBZ: Help! No one can figure out the issue.

This truck has a new GPCM that was programmed by the dealer to the truck since it kept producing a CEL for it. I could have them try running it without a TCM. Wondering if its worth the money for the compression test at this point? A friend has been comparing data from his Kodiak same year to...

We could remove the power from the stereo equipment to see if that changes anything.

LBZ: Help! No one can figure out the issue.

This is in no way a dig on the shop working on my truck but a huge request for thoughts on what to do to fix it. Everyone is stumped! Attached is the work order showing what has been done seems like they have seen exactly what i have seen but haven't been able to figure out whats causing it...

Allison 6sp: What is a basic rebuild

Im not quite sure if my tune is "detuned" like the factory Kodiak's are or if its more of a Pickup Tune. Haven't really drove it since we got the tune since its been having the issue on the #8. As for the transmission we did get the TCM reprogrammed with an 08+ vin that unlocked the 6th...
