    Melted or cracked piston. Injector would have had to pin open and over fuel heavily. There would have been smoking and knocking. Likely wouldn't hurt a piston at idle. Excessive blow by from oil fill cap? How much did you have to adjust on the valves ? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Any popping through intake or from tailpipe? To happen that fast at idle I don't think it could have been the injector. My money is on valves adjusted too tight and piston smacked one or if you're lucky too loose and maybe bridge between intake valves came off or push rod came out of rocker...

    I did it a year or so ago and haven't looked back. Best truck I've ever owned. But like others have said it doesn't get the mileage of a Duramax. I average 16.5. With a Duramax driving the same routes I'd get 18 or so. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    LML Lifting the cab for

    There are a couple hidden grounds behind the front bumper. I also remove the top half of the fan shroud, fan and fan cage before lifting the cab.     If it's stuck due to carbon build up from a leaking tip washer you can use paint stripper or gasket remover to soften it up. Works well with the sprinter injectors and their "black death". Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Just do a drain and re-fill with dex-cool. That's what I have been using in them. According to the parts store Zerex brand Dex-Cool is compatible with all 6.7 Ford's and late model 6.7 dodges. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Customers truck finally rolled 500k. 2012 6.7. First 425k were trouble free. Literally just maintenance and delete. It got a transmission at about 430k and fuel system at around 450k due to grenaded cp4. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
