    Anneal the shaft. Then you can machine a keyway. Drill and tap the snout, use a bolt and retainer to keep it on the shaft.

    Filter before lift pump?

    I run a fuel filter/ water seperator before my pump so that it cant eat any trash. Holley pumps are known for short lifespan when used with diesel. Sounds like you just had some bad luck.

    Get under the truck and remove the bellhousing inspection cover. See what color the converter is painted. If its dark grey its Suncoast; black or light purple its Precision; dark purple its ATS. Who did you buy the truck from? That may help also.

    If you cant find it I would use 620 loctite instead of the 272. The 620 loctite should be in stock as its what replaced the Cat stuff. They both will be green in color

    The # you really want if they have it in stock is 4C-9507. If not just tell them you need retaining compound. I have used 4C-9507 on stock cups, hold downs, and harware to 100psi boost without issues. Cat just recently quit making it, so if they have any it will be old stock on the shelf.
