    Another thing you can try is putting an amp meter/clamp around your battery cables with engine off and see what the reading is, shouldn't have any reading but if you do, something is staying on, this is how I found my stuck glow plug relay, with engine off key off it was drawing 22amps, killed...

    Not a bad idea, I've always used CLR, soak em for a few hours and inspect them after you pull them out. And whatever you do, TORQUE the line nuts. If you snug them to where they feel good and tight they'll leak, garuntee you'll get another small turn out of them while torquing.

    Melling m316 oil pump

    Not positive on bumping pressure down, maybe a different oil check valve/regulator. I personally wouldn't mess with the spray jets, those need to hit a specific spot on the piston for cooling. Also how would you know if you took to much out or not enough until the engine was running.

    Wondering about this, I thought hazing was more of a sticky injector causing more fuel to leak into the cylinder in turn causing un burnt raw fuel smoke to come out the exhaust? Just curious, not trying to step on any toes.

    You can lube the oring with Vaseline or I've used a very light coat of oil. As far as heat cycle I dunno but I've had good luck with sealing it and allowing it to set up.     Kind of odd it stayed pressurized for 4 days, normally if it were a blown head gasket again I would think once shut off the coolant would drain back into the cylinder and would be hard starting/hydro locking.     Is that in park or drive? If park I would suspect #8. What are the issues you are having? Smoke at idle?

    Loss of comm. with ECM and tcm?

    My glow plug fault came out of the blue while i was test driving before I put the tcm on. You very well may have the same issue that I had.
