    I really hope so. Done quite a bit of research on it and seems like loose converter clutchs are another possibility but this thing has been quiet as can be until bout 2hrs ago

    Also truck has a ppe stage 5 with black goerend converter. Installed by me with about 4,000 miles on it. If I rev it up it goes away, seems to go away in reverse but no other gears.

    Welcome!!!!! I would imagine you have an intercooler pipe loose or maybe a loose clamp. Check at the connection at turbo. Even a little boost passing there will cause what you're describing

    Not quite sure how diesel is filling up the cylinder. Sure you have all harnesses in correct locations and plugged in correctly? Are you saying #3 is just stuck wide open or??????
