**CHALLENGE** - TURBO LAG TEST using a log

You are correct on operator error Having the stock wheel back in mine from the batmowheel is definitely a better spooling setup. I should redo my times but summer is here. There is a stark difference in spool time from winter to summer lol. I need to adjust my gate more. Its blowing open too...

**CHALLENGE** - TURBO LAG TEST using a log

Youd see better gains modding the stock turbo than fucking with the big turbo. Just aint fun to pull in and out

**CHALLENGE** - TURBO LAG TEST using a log

Realistically, the stock turbo is more of the gate keeper here than the 475. Specially with just the slight differences your seeing. The wheel should make up for it on the top end lol

**CHALLENGE** - TURBO LAG TEST using a log

I lied, apparently my tired eyes looked at the wrong line. You are reading psia. So 14.5 psi is actually 0 psig. So you want to hit 35psia to complete the test

No you did it right unless you are not monitoring psig. Looks like you are

Tom, if there is one in phx and the seller is willing to bring it to our shop, ill do a full inspection on it for free for you. You will get a digital inspection with pics and videos of everything we see bad or about to be bad. Tie rods, idler/pitman arm, ball joints, control arm bushings, water...

    2002 FE9

Well sadly, napa ncp part line has now been replaced by ncd which is all dorman made. Ive seen early failures from all these different part mfg’s accept krytonite. Not saying they dont have them but their failure rate is far less than any of the store bought stuff now. Fuckin sucks ass. The...

Gm 3.6? Ecoboost has phaser issues and iirc those years have the coolant fitting leak issues for the turbos. Water pump/thermostat have known issues. Plastic fittings on hoses are crap but probably an az thing. Aint terrible otherwise but god damn do they take forever to get down to the front...

So longer story Weve had ttx joints tearing boots left and right on dodges, chevys and everything else we put them on (this was prior to napa coming out with the fleet line). Like, 6 months in and they be wasted. Went to the napa 100 year convention in vegas last year and saw mevotech there. I...

Yyyeeeaaahhh… weve warrantied ALOT of ttx joints because of that. The mevotech rep and i had a long discussion about it last year. Ill post up the reason for it later but basically, its a covid issue and theres still that many left out there from back then

1/4 bracket by its self will be more than enough, top mounts will go next. If you want to box it still, put it on the side the shock shaft will be closest to and make sure its welded to the axle. I really dont think its needed though UNLESS its the shock bottoming out, then thats going to tear...

    BD Transmission issues

I have seen nothing but issues from BD. We no longer deal with them after we were told labor would be covered at $100/hr and they gave us and the customer the finger when it was time for payment. Had it in phone convo and email. Anyhow, I’d yank that trans and get a used stock core to build...
