That's awesome! Catch me up back up. I don't remember what all happened. It got stolen, beat to hell, and you rebuilt it right? What's the setup and plans for the truck now?

Answer to your first questions is yes lol.
Setup now is a 7.1L socal stroker motor. 250% exergy injectors, 14mm exergy pump, and a work S480 .92 1.0ar T4 built by Reed..

Plan is a weekend warrior truck and to make it to the track as much as possible. Maybe some street fun if opportunities pull up next to me 😆.

I know you haven't had it very long but what RPM does that 480 really start to spool on that stroker? I think most stock motor guys are saying it takes at least 3000 rpms.

Haven't even driven it that much besides just going up and down the road checking vitals and getting everything up to operating temps and checking for leaks. Ill report back and let you know as soon as I can on the spool up of the charger.

5 years is a lot more patience than I would ever have, but from the looks of it, it was definitely worth it, clean as a whistle.
Found a nice 10k mile 07 classic LT3 Chevy the other day on low miles no miles, and thought of this truck, I'd have bought it if he didn't want 70k for it, he won't budge on it either.

Alot of lower mileage 40K- 60K trucks popping up in the 45k range. Yet they just sit there... no one dropping the coin like they did previously...

Best he can hope for is Bring A Trailer might have some one willing to pay it... other wise, even at the big fancy car auctions I dont see it bringing that kind of money. Even the true collector trucks that are still new dont bring that...

I think the market for trucks like this is guys that will buy it out of pre emission nostalgia. They have new truck money but don't wanna deal with the emissions and BS. I think it's gonna get even worse after this year with all the new cameras and algorithms and shit on these truck. A guy I know just sent me a photo of this new Ford telling him he needed to stop for coffee break durring a long drive.... I keep saying I won't own a other new with all this BS. Work makes that hard.

Stop for a break? Thats wild. We have a tough time avoiding new with the amount of trucks we buy each year. I think the market on clean 06-07 is going to simmer, and the 17-19 market is going to heat up. The 10 speed has not helped GM.

Truck sounds awesome! Great work and great job hanging with it.

That’s not a new thing for fords to do that. They read your driving habits and inform you to do that.

Like if you’re jerking the wheel a little to stay straight it reads that.
