    Update 2: Received second box- still same issue. Called the manufacturer and they gave me a line about “they have two separate suppliers for cores so it can vary.” Told them that since I am ordering a new box that should not be a concern. They agreed and are looking into and will call me back...

    Update on the rock auto box. Hopefully I just got sent the wrong part. Box is correct but definitely is not what I was expecting- looks to be remanned as well.

    Congrats! Was worried about the direction the forum may go but looks like it will be in good hands! I’d pretty much abandoned my mod spot on df because I couldn’t even stand logging in over there after the changeover.

    I looked on vision’s website and they list lock to lock as 3.2 turns which is the same as what my truck is (with what I assume is the original box). Was there a ratio change? I looked and couldn’t find any threads addressing it.

    What about putting the PTO in the trans and getting a pto generator? That way you are utilizing the capability you have with the truck, and you'll have the extra capacity should the need arise.

    My thoughts as well, going tough to have enough room between the two price points to incentivize buyers to stick with the half ton instead of just stepping up to an hd unless mileage is killer.

    If you're going to go through that much effort, just do a projector retrofit. They will outshine a cube any day of the week.
