LLY: 2006 LLY Cold Start Alternator Output Problems

Rebel, Thanks yes I saw there are two and they seem to be close to each other, with work and travel and still healing from a very fast motorcycle crash I am kind of limited on what I can do with my right hand and being that I'm right handed it makes work tough. How long does it take to...

    LBZ: Rods So many choices

Well after swearing off of making Dmax rods I have been quoted just under $10,000.00 for the tooling/forging die. I can see why some companies may have started up by charging more in the beginning (to recoup the die/tooling cost perhaps) however I would think that if the rods are what I think...

    LB7: Front end noise?

On Michelle's 2003 LB7 she has been in to the dealer 5 times for a "steering shaft replacement however I believe a few of the times it was just "lubed" and not replaced. You can see from link what was done before. http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?p=113171#post113171 The...

    LBZ: Rods So many choices

The rods and pistons in the picture are for a Nitro Top Fuel car and are what appears to be either a Howards or most likely a Brooks Aluminum rod and a hard anodized JE or Venolia piston..but what do I know I work for a company based in Germany.. :) J

    LBZ: Rods So many choices

I'll tell you what, since there seems to be some keyboard jockeys here that are so against another rod company coming in to this market and taking part of this great site I will no longer talk about the rods here to please the few whining members that seem to continue to bash this attempt to...

    LBZ: Rods So many choices

The rod is made stronger and the same material is used...:thumb: With your thinking picture a thinner impact socket that would fail after a few uses, then make it from the same material and design it better with more material in the previously failed area. John
