    Thanks everyone for the help. I am still in the process of finding the problem. I will remove transmission and see that helps anything. I have almost got it ready to pull engine bit did not want to risk messing up my transmission. Will pulling the transmission first prevent any damage to it?

    Yes it threw a crank shaft mal. code and a general transmission code. If the transmission is locked up the truck would not roll in gear right?

    Hey guys I am new to the forum. I am looking for some pointers on rebuilding my lb7. It locked up on me on the highway and I do not have the money to buy a new motor. I am trying to rebuild it. Any pointers would be appreciated.
