    Code readers for 2024 L5P

CTS3 Insight has been installed in my 24 for a couple months now. Will read and clear codes. Has a decent PID list aswell. Shows calculated line pressure which is neat.

    2024 Duramax issues?

Picked up a AT4X AEV last month. First new GM I likes at first sight. Fits 37x13.50R18 on the AEV wheels lock to lock. Did turn the bars up 1.5 turns to level it out abit. Sidewalls do kiss the frame at full lock. -39C last week. Truck ran strait for ~70hrs. Nice the truck will run with or...

    LB7 miss

Just because it ohms doesn’t mean it will pass a load test. See many guys get burnt with a multimeter…

    T87 Swaps

What would you like compared with HP? HP has DTC list for Allison t87a… The speed sensors physically can be swapped in the Allison housing aswell. I can send you a t87a HPtuners file if you would like. Email addy?

    Headgasket question

We have never had an issue keeping it tight at those power levels. Cold starts seem better and mpg definitely doesn’t suffer from tighter quench. I would be putting A on if I was ordering gaskets/availability

LML Rebuild - Crank No Start

Swapping banks with the return line won’t matter. They are a balanced system, the return regulator is an opened orifice on the injector side. Simple ball and spring regulator. Trucks will idle with 20psi return. But a new regulator will show 150psi consistent. You can put shop air into the...

LMM wheel bearing on a classic

The tone rings are same tooth count 01-10, but the sensors are different. A random interesting fact is the gm speed sensors fit right into the 05+ superduty wheel bearings, and because the superduty wheel bearings run higher tooth count(58 vs 54 iirc) this allows us to run higher then 34.4”...

LMM wheel bearing on a classic

Different sensor. But you can swap the classic body sensor into the LMM. Also the 08+ bearings don’t need a CV shaft to keep them together. Most replacement wheel bearings for the classics are built this way now a days tho

Who machines C3 apply plates these days?

We have ran this reliably with raybestos high energy frictions and kolene steels to 1450ft/lbs with 280psi and no knock down. I’ve logged north of 1600ft with 320psi a few times aswell…

Who machines C3 apply plates these days?

LML piston and spring, .120” spacer, 6 .076 frictions(stock LML thickness), 6 .098 steels, machine plate .415. You can pretty much mirror this setup in the C4 too. Stock 01-10 backing plate works well here We cut plates and spacers if needed. In Canada so shipping may hurt

    GT3788VA on a 2008 3500

The stock turbo in all 04.5-16 Dmax are GT3788va. Unfortunately there are many different designs of this same turbo. The only measurement “gt3788va” gives us is the exducer size of the compressor wheel at “88”mm based on the “Gt37va” Cartridge. You can have multiple compressor wheel inducer...

P01F0 code related to head gasket??

Grab your fuse panel lid. Hard? Yes rock hard. If your upper rad hose feels 70% that hard you NEED headgaskets. Any less pressure, count the days..

First time L5P owner. Code P0205

Also the L5P pigtails can be hard to find. The fish tuning 04.5-10 pigtails work if you cut off the alignment tabs
