    04 p2099 code ( makes zero boost )

    My dads lly with 60k miles is acting up . Popping the code listed above . The truck idles fine and takes off but will not make boost.. there are no leaks . I did notice that the truck wasn’t doing the airplane noise at idle like I remember it doing all the time . Any thoughts ?

    well guys I picked up a bed today, I got a sweet deal for 600 bucks and its rust free yes rust free. I couldn't believe how nice it was every inch of the floor and braces and wheel wells are as solid as new. so what is everyone recommending I coat this with? por15? bedliner?

    Can't beat that ! My friend recently bought a 07 obs ccsb steel blue truck , friggin mint condition with 120k on the odo.he payed 26 thousand for it. What's funny is in 2010 I bought my 05 from a dealer for 24k with only 66k on the odo .

    So true .. The sick part is here at the ford dealer I work at some 1/2 tons are only a few thousand cheaper then a diesel crewcab but in 8 years the diesel will be worth about 30 the half ton will be worth much less . Just like jeep wrangles the value they maintain is incredible

    Best Fuel Additive??

    I run 2 stroke tcw3 from Walmart and a little bit of diesel kleen and to behonest my lly has had a lope/surge for a good while but if I consistently run 2 stroke oil in the fuel it disappears . Can anyone else attest to the same thing ?

    If your putting red in a truck with a name on the side you are asking for trouble . Not sure how other states are but here in Maryland I have never heard of someone in a regular truck getting dipped , just dumps and tractors
