    Any "pro tips" for stripping waxy crap off the frame

    WD 40 and paper towels works great. Take a flat scraper and scrape as much as possible, then use WD 40 to remove the residue. Follow that with a good wipe down with brake cleaner and then go to painting.

    I know from reading on LS1tech that the trans is faceplated and has an rpm box that drops power between shifts to help keep it alive. I assume its still the same.

    There are other brands that bolt to the body mounts which would be sturdier. Tuff country maybe one of them.
