Come See Us In Bakersfield!
Talking about Crude Drags 2, coming up in Bakersfield Feb 23: We've made a few changes we want everyone to know about.
Our first Crude Drags took place at a venue that restricted speeds and imposed strict limitations on the types of vehicles that could run. This time around, we've moved to Famoso Raceway, so there are no such restrictions. Our event will run under NADM sanctioning rules, which accommodate a more professional level of competition.
Only problem is, some of our own promotion wrongly suggested that no vehicles running quicker than 10 seconds would be allowed. This is not the case!
In fact, a number of MUCH faster diesel pickups and drag racers have expressed an interest in attending. We can't reveal just yet which teams will come, but we anticipate a star-studded field that might just move the diesel record book into new territory.
We're also expecting a good crop of manufacturers' booths, so this event might be a good place to find out more about performance equipment. One manufacturer, Bully Dog, told us they will actually be there with a "try before you buy" offer. So you can bring your rig, strap on a new tune job and find out what their latest equipment can do for you. There will even be a dyno available, in case you want numbers.
