Winter storage advice

I have always been under the impression that the motor will be just as dry in one month as it will in five months so instead of starting it multiple times I will just wait and do it once when I am ready to bring it back out of storage.

Edit: If my thinking is wrong then by all means let me know.

To be honest my truck usually breaks some time around Thanksgiving and then sits in pieces until the spring/ early summer. I am new to this hahaha

I can't speak specifically to the dmax, but I'll cut some of my oil filters open from time to time including stuff that sits for extended periods (3 trucks and 2 bikes stored for winter, plus equipment that sits for a month+ at a time) and I've never noticed any difference in filter debris in something used regularly vs something sitting
