I'm guessing you are about the 65mm Stg2LLy versus the BMW3794Stg2? To answer that it is the exducer of the compressor being 4mm bigger on the 3794va. I think on a stock motor with normal sized injectors the differences would be more pronounced but my 15.5:1Comp with big cam and heads and fuel is definitely messing with the numbers some!

Correct. But for the price difference even the 2.5 stg2 LLY turbo isn't far behind. How much of an increase could one expect going to the high flow vanes? Or is there no advantage on a single turbo?

That's definitely on my list of things to test in this situation back to back but it will be at a later date. Yes it's better than stock because of flow vs. angle of attack.

I thought this turbo was good for 40psi? Did you think you have more left in it or its the 36 psi due to your engine build flowing more?

Yes it is, I didn't change the tuning for the turbo. It was still set up for the stock turbo so vane position was dropping all the way to 0% on it. I have seen as much as 42-45psi with this turbo with the correct setup. Motor setup is definitely changing this info also as all the turbo combos made the most boost at 2,000-2,200rpms and fell off as the rpm went up.
