What piston is this? Are they Mahle? I cant find this 3840 number anywhere on the net

The name is usually cast into the underside. For an LBZ OEM it would be a Mahle.

I thought LBZ/LMM pistons were manufactured by Isuzu? Not mahle.

I have a Mahle LBZ piston sitting in the shop some place. I'll try to remember to dig it out.
