Congrats on the bench PR! My goal is a measly 225. :baby:

My training is going well. Ready for the volume to go down.
I got the Volt Romaleos. Cant wait to try them out next week.
Thanks Chris:hug: It was a ton of work to get it. You'll hit 225 in no time. Enjoy the Nikes and good choice on the color:thumb:

So I think I'm going to do stronglifts 5x5 or do you all recommend candito

5x5 works well. I prefer Candito's because of the structure and it's rated as one of the best.http://www.powerliftingtowin.com/candito-6-week-strength-program/

Said f it. Needed something simple to get me back into it so started stronglifts 5x5 today. Used numbers from over a month ago and some from 3 months ago as that's what I had to go off. Low bar squats are so different for me so it's nice to start low on something new, definitely need to work on should mobility. Sooooo here we go

Low Bar Squats 5x5 90lb
Bench 5x5 90lb
Barbell row 65lb

Barely even got warm and I was done. Hopefully after a few more days I'm remotely challenged

Saturday after work: flat bench 155x20 185x15 225x12 275x6. Incline dumbbell press 90#x10x3. Decline bench 185x10,205x10,225x10. Flat bench dumbell flies 50#x10x3 . Chest dips 3 sets to failure. 50total push-ups. Yesterday was a maintenance day, super sets seated dumbbell curls, dumbell shrugs, calf raises and forearm curls. 5 total sets with alot of reps. I'm trying to somewhat cut without giving up alot of strength, still trying to find how many days I can before I need a break. At first I was 3 on one off,now I'm thinking of 2 on one off.

About to finish another cycle on Candito and will restart again. Hit another PR on squats, testing deads later this week. Bench stayed the same, but I tried to use that cycle to dial in my form. I always lift without a spotter and found myself lifting my butt off the bench and worked on staying planted.

Careful with Lowbar Brock, it loads the posterior chain more.

Deads and Bench today. Gotta give the knee's and hip some rest from squats.

Deads
315x4sx12r

Bench
245x3sx12r
245x10
245x9.5

Smoked bench and deads, pretty happy with that. Starting back on Jesse's program so we will see what the new leg size has done for the squat, hopefully my hip and knee's behave.

Need to mix up my workouts now. Someone throw up a good back day.

4-5 sets of 10-12 reps deadlift 10th or 12th rep should be about all you have on the last couple sets.

Lat pull downs or wide grip pull ups
4-5 sets of 10-12 reps

dumbell rows or barbell add weight each set
1x10-12
1x8
1x6
1x5

Optional BW or Weighted hypers
4-5 sets of 10-12 reps

Back broken:thumb:

That sounds painful. So question for you more advanced squaters. I opened my stance a few inches. Apparently I'm very narrow usually. Anyways I noticed in doing so my quads are more sore up mid-upper thigh where they usually get sore from mid-lower thigh. So is it better to be narrow or more middle of the road? I can take pictures if need be

Just want strong wheels. That being said when I was wider stance it was low bar and super comfy, other than my left shoulder doesn't rotate back far enough since my surgurey like the right one does

I have always been able to move more weight low bar like most people

Personally I am most comfortable with about a shoulder width stance or slightly wider

Just adjust your stance where your comfortable Brock. Remember to keep the knees tracking over your toes, no side loading the knee joints, usually what makes em sore.
