While sitting in the drive way today waiting to leave I got a wild hair and decided to flip my CTS monitor over to codes. I already knew and am not concerned with the glow plug code but I noticed a new one. The code is U1041.
As much searching as I've done on here I cant seem to find a sure answer or solution to what this is and how to fix it.
The only things that I've noticed to be a bit different lately in the way the truck runs is one of and only one of the injectors is very close to going out of GM Balance Rate Spec, it smokes now, which is weird because its stock. The only things that I have done to it is the PPE Boost Valve and Pro Fab intake horn. Both of these things I did only hoping for just a little more whistle. I was also under the impression that these will also help a little at getting rid of smoke.
Any help as to what could be causing the code would be very helpful
